John Baschab joined Technisource in 2005 as part of the Impact Innovations Group acquisition. He was a co-founder of Impact and managed their consulting group that included the IT optimization (ITO), application management (AMO) and shared services groups. This business formed the basis for the current Provali Group.
Prior to co-founding Impact and the Provali Group, John served with the information technology strategy group of the management consultancy of Booz & Co. working on IT strategy issues with Fortune 500 companies. He specialized in the consumer packaged goods industry with expertise in retail, grocery, pricing, category management and loyalty marketing. He also spent time in the information technology departments of Intergraph Corp. and AT&T.
He earned an M.I.S. from the University of Alabama and an M.B.A. with honors in behavioral science from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
John is also an adjunct faculty member in the engineering management and information systems (EMIS) department at Southern Methodist University, where he won the 2008 Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching award for EMIS.
John is co-author of The Executives Guide to Information Technology, 1st and 2nd editions (John Wiley, 2003, 2007 ISBN 0470095210), and co-author of The Professional Services Firm Bible (John Wiley, 2005 ISBN 0471660485). He is co-inventor of “Assessment Methodology for IT Departments” USPTO 20060242261.
In addition, John serves on the Board of Visitors for the Honors College at the University of Alabama. |
