Our Proprietary Approach
“Clockwork” is the Provali Group’s proprietary approach to actively monitoring, tracking and reporting disruptions to systems or business process. The methodology provides our delivery team with a standard set of tools and processes to improve solution effectiveness and exceed our clients’ expectations. When standardized processes and tools are implemented within your organization, you are closer to helping it run like "Clockwork”.
IT efficiency is promoted with strong communications and collaboration among all team players. Centralizing communications by the “Clockwork” tool facilitates this. The core of “Clockwork” is the repeatable processes. Based on ITIL standards, “Clockwork” presents a common way for the Provali Group team to manage all client engagements for consistency, predictability and cost efficiency. “Clockwork” provides many benefits to clients, including:
- Change management – This is the standard process for introducing changes into the environment. Change management increases communication, streamlines planning, decreases impacts between groups and systems and ultimately stabilizes the environment, reducing downtime and outages.
- Incident management – The identification of a disruption and the process in which normal service is restored are two of the most important aspects of ongoing operations. Having a standard incident management process minimizes the impact of incidents to business operations. And when tracked properly, it reduces future incidents. Provali Group’s primary objective for support operations is to maintain business productivity. Incident management is a critical process to meeting this objective.
- Operations checklist – As human error is always a risk when providing services, the operations checklist serves to minimize these risks. Standardizing routine tasks through a checklist helps to ensure that operations are being managed thoroughly. It also allows Provali Group to be proactive, improves staff productivity and improves work quality in a consistent manner. In many cases, as operations become more standardized, they become candidates for automation. The operations checklist then becomes the foundation for this transition.
